![]() Makes you wonder how many are doing it considering how many are defending this. You have no idea how long it has been going on for.Ī lot of strange things going on with people all of a sudden happy to let "others" cheat. You have no idea if the sound mods are a problem in the game, people are just making stuff up. Turn it off in tournaments but let the cheaters cheat in normal play. (I think boats will help grow the playerbase, but I think a lot of them want at least destroyers, but that's a different topic I could go on about all day).Originally posted by burg4401:imagine being happy to let people cheat.why are you happy to let people cheat? I've seen more people interested in doing sound mods and more people wanting people to make them which I think is great. With better support for mods now, I think more people will and thank Gaijin for doing that. I know redoing sounds is on their list of things to do, but it's far from top priority obviously. Sound is lacking and they know it and it can make a HUGE difference for most people. The first while when GF were new, it was a great sound but after hearing for the past 2 years for each 88mm gun, it gets dull. Very few sounds, especially for ground forces, have changed over time. or that the playerbase will grow altogether (maybe after they fully add boats (or ships even), many are waiting for how that'll change the meta when it hits.) Repetitiveness is the biggest issue for most people (including myself). I hope more modders will arise for this game that benefit it. or that the playerbase will grow altogether (maybe after they fully add boats (or ships even), many are waiting for how that'll change the meta when it hits.) I think a lot of people are starting to compare gaijins soundset, sounds which are by far very repetitive, with sounds from other games and how it sounded in the real world, and people want better quality or use mods, and the latter is becoming a proper option now and the prior depends on gaijin redoing their sounds, which imho is unlikely. The 3 of them working together could make an amzing sound mod. But I think he stoped because we already had B0ris and Epic thunder for sound mods which is a shame. ![]() The guns sounded just right, it was not a loud bang when you fire in the sights (as it is relativly quite inside when you fire), you can hear the shell casing drop into a metal catch basket, engine sounds were well done, etc. Hey you in the bushes님이 먼저 게시:It's a shame Kriegs stoped working on his. The 3 of them working together could make an amzing sound mod.Īt least Gaijin is more supportive of mods now because a lot of their sounds just don't hold up to me but I did read they do plan to do a sound overhaul at some point. ![]() ![]() It's a shame Kriegs stoped working on his. Someone really needs to make a proper soundmod, maybe mix them both and add some extra (like planes and boats later on). i prefer boris overall and am using that one right now, the epic ones gunsounds are great, but the machine guns sounds are terrible and the small caliber guns sound way to deep, like the german 50mm for example.īoris does those better, at least for exterior firing, interior gunsounds are in a lot of cases better by epic. and i really do hope new sound mods or ui mods follow sooner rather then later.Īs for boris and epic. The two you list here are what i found as well, the third one to mee seems to old. I think they will soon since mods are somewhat supported now and I hope they do. I don't think the tools were there (or if they are yet) to edit aircraft sounds. There is also WTRSM, but I don't think it has been updated in a long time or if it works (which is a shame as it was a great one) - Įdit: Don't think there are any for aircraft. I like the engine sounds from B0ris's mod, but prefer a lot of gun sounds from Epic Thunder. Project - "Epic Thunder" (Like some parts of this one)īoth have ups and downs.
